Leslie needed a website that would help men diagnosed with cancer, or recovering from cancer, to enjoy sexual intimacy again. This website would not only need to answer tough questions, but would actively guide men towards effective solutions for lost sexual desire, erectile dysfunction and other cancer-related sexual problems.
In response to this need, Ethode worked with Leslie to develop the hardtimessexandcancer.com website. This website contains interactive applications and a wealth knowledge that helps men make better decisions about their sexual health after a cancer diagnosis.

A simple, colorful, interactive erectile dysfunction guide that allows men (and their partners) to click through all of the treatment options at their disposal without being overwhelmed by giant blocks of medical terminology.
A powerful goal tracking application that allows patients to put together a list of physical and emotional milestones they would like to achieve on the road to sexual recovery after their cancer diagnosis. The app tracks these goals, and automatically provides extra motivation and information to help them reach recovery more effectively.
A penile rehab planner that helps men put together a calendar of daily or weekly treatments that can help them maintain their sexual health over the long run.
A medical terminology glossary. If a participant wants to know what a specific medical term means, they need only hover their mouse over the word, and an easy-to-understand explanation will pop up for their convenience.
